RARE SET NUMBER TWO OF FAIRY TALE PRINTS BY TASHA TUDOR- Sleeping Beauty This is an exceptional set of 4 seldom seen prints from watercolors by the beloved children's author & noted watercolorist, Tasha Tudor(1915-2008) which were created for her book of Fairy Tales. This is set #2 and includes: Sleeping Beauty ~ Rumpelstiltskin ~ Valiant Tailor ~ Emperor's New Clothes.

These full color reproductions were published / printed on heavy card stock by Platt & Munk back in the early 60's and are ready for framing. Each print measures 14 x 11 in size and all are in mint condition; Note: Sleeping Beauty has some very minor age yellowing to margins.

This set of prints would make a welcomed addition to your Tasha Tudor collection as well as highly collectible artwork for your child's room!

Each print has four different, fully detailed wildflowers which we all know and have come to love. This set contains the following flowers: Indian Pink, Water Lily, Wild Columbine, Buttercup,Arrowhead, Pickerelweed, Solomon's Seal, Adder's Tongue, Vetch, Wood-Sorrel, Wild Geranium and Rose Mallow. These prints would make a lovely framed display.

ENGLISH SPORTING PRINT ENGRAVING This is a well executed hand-colored print engraved by E. Hacker after E. Corbet (1850-1876); captioned: REVENGE BY RECOVERY, A FAVORITE HORSE OF THE LATE SIR TATTON SYKES; Sir Tatton Sykes, 4th Baronet, was a prominent Yorkshire sportsman and in 1801 founded Sledmere, Britains most successful thorobred farm; with good plate mark, it is double matted and framed (non-glare glass);Condition: excellant, some overall toning, no foxing, holes or rips; dates from ca. 1891-1920s.

Porcelain Enamel Photo Engraving Interesting framed photo-engraving done on porcelain enamel which appears to have been made from an original copperplate engraving; the title in the lower margin is in three languages, one of which appears to be French. The image is that of a stallion performing the Pirouette movement.

A very interesting piece of art!

Fine Art etching by listed French artist, Charles Louis Kratke (1848-1921), titled in pencil(on verso) The Pond, this etching was executed and engraved by the artist;signed in lower right margin L. Kratke,SC. Charles L Kratke was a painter of genre scenes and portraits; a student of Jean L Gerome, he first exhibited in 1868 and received medals at the 1889 Exposition Universelle. He was noted for his scenes of Napoleon's campaigns.
