WESTMORELAND GLASS CHECKERBOARD COMPORT COMPOTE Ca 1912 Made by the Westmoreland Glass Co., this high standard compote or, comport as they are sometimes called, is in the Checkerboard pattern (Line #500). This pattern was produced in 1912 and again in the 1940's and 1970's; this particular piece dates to ca 1912

Condition: compote is in excellent condition, no chips, nicks or cracks. Since the top (not shown) has been broken in half, reglued and come apart again, it will be included for restoration purposes.

Does have 2 straw marks & a few small air bubbles in glass both of which are common in pressed glassware.

IMPERIAL GLASS CO. PRESSED GLASS PITCHER Ca. 1911 This early 20th c. (ca. 1911) Imperial Glass Co. Pressed Glass water pitcher is in one of the cut glass style patterns popular at the turn of the 20th century; this one is pattern number 466. The base is unmarked except for an 8 pointed star within a circle in center of base. One small nip on handle detected by feel only, otherwise in excellent condition. (special thanks to Dori Miles for her assistance with the identification of this pattern)

IMPERIAL GLASS THREE IN ONE PATTERN BISCUIT JAR Hard to find turn of the 20th century, clear Pressed Glass biscuit jar by the Imperial Glass Company in the Three-in-one pattern a/k/a Imperial's No. 1; dates to 1902-15.

Ref:(Ency. of Pattern Glass, McCain)these jars are rare & due to their everyday use they were subject to breakage and when found are rarely in excellent condition, making this jar a real find!

Condition: two very small nicks (flea bites) to rim of jar (see additional image), very slight edge roughness around base of top;top with small straw mark; base with air bubble at rim.
