VINTAGE SIGNED VILLASANA MEXICAN SILVER TAXCO CUFF CLAMPER BRACELET An outstanding vintage STERLING SILVER spring loaded CLAMPER STYLE CUFF BRACELET DESIGNED BY MEXICAN ARTIST ALFREDO VILLASANA. Villasana worked for both William Spratling and Hector Aguilar during the golden age of Taxco silver jewelry production. Villasana was highly skilled at repousse work as this bracelet attest to with its' striking open scroll work design. The bracelet is signed Villasana, sterling, 925, Hecho en Mexico, and has the delineated Eagle mark for ca 1948-55. Signed Taxco jewelry pieces are treasured both for their original designs as well as the outstanding craftsmanship and have steadily increased in value over the years.

ANTIQUE VICTORIAN CHATELAINE SILVER METAL VANITY CASE PURSE This is an antique Victorian silver metal (possibly German Silver) chatelaine vanity case with an alternating striped design and small cartouche for initials (none present); the inside of the case is fitted with a latching mirrored door on one side that was designed to hold coins and cash the other side possibly calling cards. This chatelaine case is in good condition, no chips to mirror, inside of case has dark residue from paper clip (?), outside of case has some minor wear to edges; unmarked.

VINTAGE MEXICAN STERLING TAXCO SIGNED MARICELA LEAF PIN BROOCH This lovely STERLING SILVER BROOCH PIN is an EARLY EXAMPLE OF the work of TAXCO ARTIST, YSIDRO GARCIA PINA (workshop name MARICELA 1943-86) dating from ca 1950. Skillfully crafted, and beautifully designed, this pin is clearly signed with full hallmarks: (workshop name) Maricela Tasco, Sterling and 925,delineated Eagle mark and Heche en Mexico.

Morrill and Berk's book, MEXICAN SILVER devotes a chapter to the works of this skilled artist. He is also documented in Hougart’s MEXICAN TRADE AND HALLMARKS. Signed Taxco jewelry pieces are treasured both for their original designs as well as the outstanding craftsmanship and have steadily increased in value over the years.

VINTAGE HEAVY WIDE BAR LINK MEXICAN STERLING SILVER BRACELET Dating from the 1950's, this is a stunning Mexican sterling silver bracelet. This unique design is comprised of 1/2 inch wide silver convex bars measuring 1 1/8 inches in length, that weigh in total 46 grams (1.6 oz). Each vertical bar is secured on the reverse by heavy silver links. The clasp is marked Sterling Mexico. It has a distinctly hand made quality as the bars in each link are not completely uniform.

This bracelet is stunning on the wrist.

VINTAGE KIRK PEWTER FLOWER CUFF BRACELET NOVEMBER CHRYSANTHEMUM This is a vintage pewter cuff bracelet made by the Samuel Kirk & Son Silver Co. From the Flower of the Month collection this bracelet features a delicately engraved Chrysanthemum for the month of November. It is in mint condition and includes the original hinged presentation box and paperwork, and dates from ca 1970s. The Samuel Kirk company began in 1815 and today is not only Baltimore's first but their oldest surviving American silversmith. This bracelet is sure to become a noteworthy piece of collectible vintage jewelry in years to come.

Vintage Japanned Metal Two-part Dangle Brooch Nice vintage 2-part dangle brooch / pin made of Japanned base metal; the attached heart shaped dangles are pave set with round yellow paste stones that hang from fan shaped mounts set with yellow paste marquise & clear paste baguette stones. Dates from about 1930's.

Similar to a Coro duette in that the upper fan-shaped portion of this pin can be sepearated from the lower portion, allowing the wearer change the pin's size & look.

CARVED BAKELITE TULIP PIN A very unique carved red Bakelite and rhinestone pin in the form of a Tulip; the pin has teal blue and pink rhinestone leaves and stamens with small green rhinestones on the stem and small clear bagette stones just under the flower; the reverse of the pin is marked S.Friedman with a small arrow form logo; Simichrome tested positive and dates from ca. 1930s to early 1940s.

Condition: no damage to Bakelite; one clear bagette and 2 green round rhinestones missing; missing pin closure, plating on reverse is worn; price reflects above condition
