ANTIQUE ROYAL STAFFORDSHIRE IRONSTONE IMARI JARDINIERE Dating from the late 19th to very early 20th century, this imposing English ironstone pedestal base jardiniere (or centerpiece bowl) is hand painted in the Imari pallet of cobalt blue and iron red on a white ground with gilt highlights. The flaring rim and foot ring are decorated with alternating floral and geometric bands. The base bears the maker's mark of AJ Wilkinson Ltd /Royal Staffordshire and dates from 1896 - 1910; which is the
pottery famous for producing the wares of Clarice Cliff.

This jardiniere is in excellent condition, with only very minor wear to gilt along rim and some discoloration / watermarks to inside; no chips, nicks or cracks. Note: this item being Ironstone, is heavy

ANTIQUE VICTORIAN REPOUSSE STERLING PENKNIFE Originally designed for sharpening quills, this ornate sterling silver Victorian penknife is decorated with repousse scrolling foliage surrounding a central shaped cartouche. The knife has four steel blades of various lengths. Blades are marked Germany, case is marked sterling. In excellent condition with only minor discoloration to steel blades, script monogram to cartouche on one side only.
