ANTIQUE TENNESSEE PATCHWORK QUILT BASKET OF SCRAPS PATTERN
Very nice all hand-pieced Tennessee patchwork quilt, I believe the pattern is called Basket of Scraps or is a Flower Basket pattern variation, the backing is off-white and has been turned to front for binding; 6st/in; estimated date is from ca 1870 to turn of 20th c.; very good condition, no rips, some overall age spotting (see images); I am not a quilt expert, but will be happy to answer any questions

Made entirely of 1.75 inch hexagons this colorful Charm or Scrap quilt top is entirely hand pieced using (mostly red, white and blue) fabrics from the period. The hexagon pieces are arranged in concentric stars; estimated date is from first qtr 20th c.- ca. 1920s and was made in Nashville, Tennessee (I do have information regarding maker); Condition is very good,does need to be cleaned
NOTE: this is a quilt top only, no backing, can be finished as a quilt or used as a wall hanging or table cloth

The hexagon pieces are arranged in alternating large stars and small circles; estimated date is from first qtr 20th c.- ca. 1920s and was made in Nashville, Tennessee (I do have some data regarding the maker); Condition is very good,does need to be cleaned
