Circa: late 19th to early 20th c. Size: 5 1/2 in high x 4 in diameter
A very unusual semi-opaque milk glass Jack in the Pulpit vase with heavily crimped rim; the cylindrical body is decorated with French Blue enameled bands separated by raised molded rings; the vase is set into a gilt metal or Ormolu frame. Semi-polished pontil. Unmarked, and most likely of English or French origin and is estimated to date from the late 19th to early 20th c.
Condition: slight edge roughness to one area of rim, slight bend to one leg of frame |
