Size: 5 ins. square x 4 1/4 ins. high without top
Made by the Westmoreland Glass Co., this high standard compote or, comport as they are sometimes called, is in the Checkerboard pattern (Line #500). This pattern was produced in 1912 and again in the 1940's and 1970's; this particular piece dates to ca 1912
Condition: compote is in excellent condition, no chips, nicks or cracks. Since the top (not shown) has been broken in half, reglued and come apart again, it will be included for restoration purposes. |
