Made by the Westmoreland Glass Co., this high standard compote or, comport as they are sometimes called, is in the Checkerboard pattern (Line #500). This pattern was produced in 1912 and again in the 1940's and 1970's; this particular piece dates to ca 1912
Condition: compote is in excellent condition, no chips, nicks or cracks. Since the top (not shown) has been broken in half, re-glued and come apart again, it will be included for restoration purposes. |
