This is vintage, hard to find smaller sized early electric Slag Glass lamp made by the Edward Miller Co. (begun in 1866). This smaller size of table lamp was advertised by E.Miller Co. in 1920 as a Library Lamp. The metal shade features four curved / bent Carmel / Amber slag glass panels overlaid with a fluted Grecian pedestal and Acanthus leaf filigree design. The metal base repeats the Grecian pedestal & Acanthus leaf motif. Signed on base, Miller.
