Made in Zanesville OHIO, this is a nice Brush Pottery vase of bulbous form on low pedestal foot; with flaring and slightly ruffled rim, sides with moulded decoration of floral sprays; inset scroll and leaf handles; glazed in a pale green satin glaze reminiscent of antique Chinese Celedons. Unmarked except for mould number 740; dates from 1930 +/-
Condition: excellent; one rim flake to edge of foot; no cracks; very slight factory pitting to glaze |
