This is a nice pair of English Edwardian silver plate Adam style candlesticks made by Walker & Hall (Sheffield, UK); with urn-shape candleholders and tapered fluted stems resting on oval stepped and shaped bases; sticks are pitch and plaster loaded; dates from Edwardian era ca. 1901-1910; Condition is excellent, no loss to plate, minor scratches to top of candleholder, small repairs to side of base on both sticks; bases marked with W&H[flag]for Walker & Hall. |
