From a private collection, this vibrantly rendered Chinese ancestor watercolor portrait is hand painted on paper in bright, colorful Chinese pigments; massive dimensions, estimated to date from end of 19th to early 20th c.; framed in solid wood frame with brass filigree hangers. Condition: No fading of colors, slight darkened area to upper female figure's robe, has been close trimmed, wrinkling to paper, two unkown ares of white on background
