An very nice pair of early German Kalk factory (Eisenberg, Thuringia) figurial Rococo Revival porcelain candlesticks in the form of Putti resting on tree stumps and holding flower form gilt highlighted nozzels; hand painted; gilt highlights to scroll form base. Base is marked with the early blue crossed arrow mark of the Porzellanfabrik Kalk G.m.B.H. (Kalk Porcelain Factory); ca. 1904; near perfect condition, with one toe missing from one of the Putti. |
