This is a fine vintage full BN (Boite Nature)cigar box dating from ca 1942. Made of Mahogany, with lockwork corners and machine stapled type V hardware, it retains its original interior collar. This box features an unusual double Serpentine front with stepped lid, it rests on four rectangular feet. The base bears the printed Tax Class & Caution Notice. CONDITION:unidentified maker; box is in great near mint condition, wood is sound, only very minor age/use bumps & nicks to wood, all hardware is original
NOTE: would make an attractive storage box for TV remote controls, etc. |
