Dating from the Edwardian Period (1901-10), this long oval mahogany butler serving tray rests on four bun feet and features a brass plated pierced galley rail. The center is inlaid with a large oval paterae executed in exotic woods.
The tray is in very good condition, the inlay's outer edge has one small age crack, the original finish is worn around edges of rail; bottom has one small chip to the wood; wear to galley rail plating. |
