This vintage eight transistor radio was made in Japan for the Ross Electronics Corp (Chicago,IL), which imported transistor radios from 1950 - through the 1970's. This is model RE-815. The ivory plastic case has gold toned grill and dials, it comes with the original zippered carrying case. This would make a nice addition to any transistor radio collection.
Condition: very good - mint; no cracks to case, inside is clean, no battery residue, no loss to gold-tone grill or dials; radio does work; however, I have not been able to pickup any stations. |
