This is a lovely vintage French Opalescent spiral rib melon form commercial perfume bottle possibly by the Fenton Glass Co. It contained White Cloud cologne/ perfume made by the Wrisley Perfume Co. The bottle's top is a white swirl design plastic/ bakelite cap. Condition: very good, no chips or cracks; underside of top has some discolored perfume residue. Estimated to date from 1930-40's.
Brothers George and Allen B. Wrisley of Chicago, during the 1890 - 1940s, launched a range of fragrances amd toiletries (soaps, colognes,face creams, dusting powders and perfumes.) |
