This is a first person, eye witness account of WWII in the form of a letter written by a solider in the Army Air Corp to his mother and dated May 2, 1945. The letter mentions that the radio had just announced the death of Adolf Hitler. Letter in very good readable condition with original envelope, envelope with some yellowing, opened at one end some loss to return address. A nice piece of vintage WW II memorabilia. |
