This is a wonderful and rather rare Art Deco cobalt blue glass ink blotter in the form of a sailboat. Made by Hazel Atlas Glass Co in the 1930s, it was part of their Sailboat or Sportsman series of cobalt blue glassware; it rests on rough seas and has a ground base to grip blotter paper which is secured with clips. Condition is wonderful with no chips or cracks. |
