Dating from about ca 1923, this vintage silver plated Wahl Eversharp mechanical chatelaine pencil has a Grecian border ring top and a Check patterned barrel. The barrel has a plain [no pattern] area intended for engraving [no engraving].It has a twist top screw / slider mechanism [you twist the top around and the mechanism pushes the lead out the tip].
Pencil is marked: Wahl [large block letters] Eversharp [on one line] 2nd line: Silver Plated Made in USA
Condition: good, some loss to plating, no dents or cracks, mechanism in working order.
