Circa: 1936 Condition: see description Country of Origin: Germany Manufacturer: Certo-Camera-Werk
This vintage ca 1936 Dollina 35mm folding camera was made by Certo Camera Werk in Dresden Germany. In 1935 Certo introduced 35mm camera model which became a significant camera. There were three generations or models of this camera; the Dollina 0, Dollina I, and the Dollina II [of which there were 2 versions, the early black finish version and the later chrome finish version].
This particular camera is the early black finish version of the Dollina II; it has the Compur-Rapid shutter, the coupled rangefinder unit [marked Certo Dollina], a Schneider Radionar f:2.9 F=5 cm lens.
Condition: camera itself appears to be clean, however rangefinder does have a crack in small rectangular window with what appears to be white residue{?}inside of glass window
Note: I do not normally handle antique/vintage cameras and accessories and do not have much expertise in this area. However, I have recently acquired a small collection of cameras/accessories. I will be happy to answer any questions to the best of my ability and/or provide additional images. |
